Oscillation

I like the word oscillation.
It means movement back and forth in a regular rhythm. 

It’s a feeling I know well. 

I oscillate daily between wanting more, and wanting less.
Between being happy to be me, and wishing I was someone else.

I want to travel. But I also want to stay at home.
I want to keep things. But I also want to throw away everything I own.
